This is really dangerous, really outdated advice. This is so bad, I literally thought it was a spoof. I was waiting for the punchline. Most of these moves were condemned as unsafe more than 30 years ago. There is a high risk of injury to both patients and staff using any of the techniques outlined here. Responsible Moving & Handling professionals have spent nearly 40 years trying to persuade people NOT to use techniques like those above. Calling this an ergonomic approach is laughable. You should be ashamed of yourselves for posting this and should remove it immediately.
